About our Principal Certified Legal Document Preparers

Donald F. Steward, MC, AZCLDP

Don Steward is an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer, and has been in practice as a paralegal and legal document preparer since 1989. Mr. Steward earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Counseling from University of Phoenix. He worked as a paralegal and law clerk in California and Arizona before joining Legal Resource Center in 1994.

Mr. Steward is also a trained mediator, having completed the Arizona Attorney General mediation program and has worked as a private and volunteer court mediator, facilitating a wide variety of civil and divorce/family mediations.

In 2002 Mr. Steward served on Arizona Supreme Court Ad Hoc Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law where he co-developed the Nations first Legal Document Preparer’s Certification Program. He was subsequently appointed and served on the Arizona Supreme Court’s first Board of Legal Document preparers from April 2003 – June 2006.

Mr. Steward is a Charter Member of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals, and served as the organization’s 2002-2003 Vice President, and 2004 President.

Patricia A. Steward, AZCLDP

Pat Steward is an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer, and has been in practice as a paralegal and legal document preparer since 1992. Pat Steward is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America’s School of Mortgage Banking and has an extensive background in finance and management. She previously owned a property management company and a business that specialized in obtaining project approvals for real estate developments through various governmental entities.

Ms. Steward is also a trained mediator, having completed the Arizona Attorney General mediation program and has worked as a private and volunteer court mediator, facilitating a wide variety of civil and divorce/family mediations

Ms. Steward was a founding member of Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals. Ms. Steward also served on the US Bankruptcy Court AZ District ECF strategic planning committee, The Electronic filing committee, and CLDP sub-committee. Pat was also an appointee to the Arizona and Maricopa Foster Care Review Board of Directors, is past President of the Arizona and Maricopa County Mental Health Associations, and served on the National Mental Health Association Board of Directors. She has been recognized by Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
